After teaching math for seven years, I felt a pull toward a more entrepreneurial path. I wanted to be out in the community making a broader impact. It was difficult to leave my career in teaching behind because it had been such a significant part of my life, but ultimately, it turned out to be the best decision I could have made.
Drawing from my background in cheerleading, I opened a cheerleading gym in my community. It was a rewarding and fun experience, and the gym flourished for five years. However, after the birth of my third child and facing a knee injury, I faced yet another crossroads that led me to sell life insurance and estate planning. I became a top producer in the state, a huge achievement that represented the trust my clients had in me to guide them through such important life decisions.
Despite the success I had, I still felt something was missing. One day, a friend suggested I try real estate. Initially, I was hesitant, but I saw similarities between real estate and insurance, particularly in the way both fields require understanding clients' needs and helping them make significant life decisions. I decided to take the plunge and studied hard, taking the necessary exams to become a real estate agent in 2018.
The first year was tough; financial returns were slow, and it required persistence and belief in the process. Fortunately, I had the unwavering support of my husband, who provided for our family while I established myself. His encouragement and belief in me meant the world to me and kept me going during the challenging times.
My entrepreneurial drive was greatly influenced by my parents. My father was a successful bridge contractor in Texas, and his work ethic and business acumen inspired me. This, coupled with my mother’s supportive nature, shaped my approach to business and life wanting to strive for excellence while serving people.

In 2024, I took all my experiences and the many lessons learned to open my own brokerage. I’ve blended my teaching background with my entrepreneurial spirit, focused on instilling strong work ethics and teamwork within my brokerage. We share a common goal and when we work together, we can achieve incredible things for our clients!

My parents' legacy of hard work and compassion continues to guide me in my professional and personal life. Now, I’m focused on creating a legacy of my own that my children can look up to. Reflecting on my path, I'm grateful for the courage to step away from teaching and follow my entrepreneurial dreams. It has allowed me to touch more lives, provide for my family and build a brokerage that represents my values.
As a REALTOR®, my experiences working in life insurance and estate planning taught me the importance of understanding clients' needs and providing tailored solutions. As an educator, I have strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand. Understanding a client’s financial situation and long-term goals is crucial in finding the right property for them. I help my clients plan for their short and long-term real estate goals.
Personally, my husband and I have built two houses and have purchased and renovated multiple rental properties. We've successfully handled major renovations, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the process. Through my experiences, I’ve developed a deep empathy for my clients. I understand the stress and excitement that comes with real estate processes and do everything in my power to help create a great experience! It is my goal to build a strong relationship throughout the buying and selling process, serving as a reliable real estate resource long after the transaction is over. By serving with integrity and compassion, I strive to be a trusted real estate resource in my community!
Sincerely,

Tami Ramzinski
